Friendshipbook: Edward Wefula

BY: Ilia Van Campenhout | ON: April 14, 2019

Because real friends have a friendshipbook! Daktari Project team members and Kilembe Mines Hospital staff members are like two peas in a pod. We have been working together for several years and have an incredible bond by now. We thought it was about time to introduce some of our dearest friends to our Belgian and Ugandan supporters.

My name is Dr. Wefula Edward but you can call me .

My birthday is on the 2nd of January.

I have known Daktari Project since 2010.

My hobbies are:

  1. Interacting with patients
  2. Reading journals
  3. Listening to music

If I have to choose between two things, I choose:

Staying up late – getting up early

Leader – follower

Cooking – eating

Uganda – Belgium

Chapati – Belgian Fries

Book – Movie

Team – solo

Being able to fly – being able to be invisible

You can wake me up in the middle of the night to eat matooke.

This is my bucketlist:

1. Have my offsprings complete school/become professionals.

2. Have a descent village house.

3. Have lots of friends – local and international.

I cannot live without friends.

When I was a child I wanted to be a doctor Nowadays I work as a doctor/orthopaedic surgeon.
