Friendshipbook: Nnabaggala Margaret

BY: Ilia Van Campenhout | ON: March 1, 2020

Because real friends have a friendshipbook!

Daktari Project team members and Kilembe Mines Hospital staff members are like two peas in a pod. We have been working together for several years and have an incredible bond by now. We thought it was about time to introduce some of our dearest friends to our Belgian and Ugandan supporters.

My name is Nnabaggala Margaret but you can call me Magi.

My birthday is on 5/5/1962.

I have known Daktari Project for 6 years … months … weeks.

My hobbies are:

  1. Knitting
  2. Eating chapati’s Watching movies
  3. Tourism

If I have to choose between two things, I choose:

Staying up late – getting up early

Leader – follower

Cooking – eating

Uganda – Belgium

Chapati – Belgian Fries

Book – Movie

Team – solo

Being able to fly – being able to be invisible

You can wake me up in the middle of the night to eat  Matoke.

This is my bucketlist:

1. Have a house

2. Visit Belgium

3. Independent children

I cannot live without my children.

When I was a child I wanted to be midwive. Nowadays I work as a midwive.

This is my greatest skill: to be united but I am really bad at calling back when I missed a phone call.

This is how I see Kilembe Mines Hospital in 10 years having a new maternity ward.

My biggest wish is to remain healthy.

This is Kilembe Mines Hospital in 3 words:

1. best hospital

2. fully equiped

3. best consultants

If I would make a movie about the staff of Kilembe Mines Hospital, I would call it teamwork in Kilembe.
